Steps to follow to flash/install TWRP recovery with ODIN:

  1. The first step is to extract the ODIN flashing tool that you have downloaded and open the odin.exe file as Run as Administrator. install twrp

  2. Turn on your Samsung device into Downloading mode. You can do so by following steps.

    1. Switch off your Samsung device

    2. Press the Power key+ Home key + Volume down key Simultaneously until the warning screen appear.

    3. Now press Volume up key to boot the Samsung device into downloading mode.install twrp

  3. Now Connect your device to Computer using the USB cable. When you connect it, the ODIN tool detect your device automatically and show a message Added!!.install twrp

  4. Click on AP button (for older version there is PDA button in-place of AP) and navigate to TWRP recovery image that you downloaded and select it.install twrp

  5. Now click on Start button to start the installation process. This process will take some time for installing the TWRP Custom Recovery. install twrp

  6. After some time ODIN gives a message regarding your process. If ODIN successfully installs the TWRP on your device then it will give you SUCCESS message else give you an ERROR message. install twrp

How to Boot Samsung Galaxy Device into TWRP Recovery:

Now its time to check whether the TWRP custom recovery installed successfully on your device or not. You can check it by performing the following steps.

  1. Switch off your Samsung device.

  2. Now turn on your device by pressing the Power key+ Home key+ Volume up key Simultaneously until you see a Samsung logo on the screen. Now your device boot into TWRP recovery mode.
